Title: Hairy Designs Post by: tazet on July 29, 2007, 07:45:26 AM While we were at the Berks Triumph show yesterday, Simon was admiring a very tall guy's Triumph Rocket III with a very wicked paint job. Si asked who did it and the guy, (Richard I think), said someone in Buckingham. My ears pricked at this point so I asked who as I know a very good artist in Bucks and, yup, oh my god its the same guy. It never occured to me to look for his paint jobs. The artist in question is a man named Andy Stroud of Hairy Designs and I've known him for over 10 years. He is a very very good friend of my Mum and step Dad but since we all moved away from the area we lost touch. Think the last time I saw him was over 5 years ago. He was chuffed when I called him last night and we chatted for at least an hour. He is currently working on a top secret design for the Bulldog this year and has many best in show/paint trophies under his belt.
