I have finally got the steering box off this piggy chassis, so we will have to work out how to get it to you. Do you want the splined steering wheel shaft as well? It might come in handy when you need to convert to whatever steering wheel you use. Title: Re: Reliant Steering Box Post by: Manky Monkey on April 18, 2007, 09:05:54 AM Hiya.
Thanks for that. Yup steering shaft as well would make sense I guess. My Pop's got it's original box still fitted, but it's 54 years old so I've got no idea how knacked it is. Wouldn't hurt to have a back-up. Brock's still looking for a Standard 10 box for his new drag car too, but they're kinda thin on the ground these days, so one way or the other, yours will probably get used. Postage is probably the easiest way to get it here at the moment. Royal Mail will take it if it's not too heavy. If it is, it'd have to be Parcel Force or a courier. Although I'm a Postie I just shove letters through letter boxes, so never get involved in the sending side of things.
