Title: toyota mr2 Post by: klogan45 on February 26, 2007, 06:47:29 PM Hi guys, I may be being mental here ;D but has anyone heard, seen etc of a Toyota mr2 trike? Any thoughts, that are writable on the open forum?
The thinking is this. Its a rear wheel drive with mid engine, so the gear shift will have the necessary linkages, and should be quite quick :o Any thought appreciated. (It's not for me, honest its for a mate, really and honestly :-[ :-[) Thanks K Title: Re: toyota mr2 Post by: harley gazz on February 27, 2007, 12:38:57 AM dont know about the mr2 but a few years back i saw a lotus in a pub car park and was getting ideas, just as the owner came out and spoke to me and my mate admiring my motor lads, and he was gobsmacked :o and not very impressed when we mentioned getting a 9 inch grinder and stihl saw to one of these motors and triking it, ;D ;D ;D ;D not that we could afford one, maybe if i won the lottery ;)

Ive seen a few pushing out nearly 500bhp! Not that you'd need that in a trike! Mk 2s are cheaper than mk 1s at the moment as the older ones are now considered something of a classic.
