Title: Guitar Hero Post by: Manky Monkey on December 11, 2015, 10:12:22 AM I was delivering the Mail yesterday & as I walked up to one house I could hear someone playing some very nice Bluegrass guitar. I knocked on the door & the music stopped.
That sounded great I said to the guy who answered. His face lit up -Really? My wife hates it. Pfft, what does she know. Yeah! Thank you. I walked on up the road & as I came back down the other side, he was stood at the front window, in full Rock God pose, belting out AC/DC at full volume, with loads of feedback -duh, duh, duh, duhduh! He grinned at me & I punched the air in salute -Dude! As I walked away around the corner I thought Y-e-a-h, your wife's not at home is she. :D Title: Re: Guitar Hero Post by: morrag on December 11, 2015, 12:03:59 PM ;D ;D yeah, and I bet he wasn't bothered!!

Title: Re: Guitar Hero Post by: Manky Monkey on December 11, 2015, 06:15:40 PM Mr Loon & I were discussing that this afternoon at his workshop. His Dad plays drums in a band & has a banjo, but neither of them can play it. Very difficult instrument to master I'm told.

Title: Re: Guitar Hero Post by: Olds on December 11, 2015, 07:46:00 PM ??? Not sure what my trike has to do with their inability to play the Banjo. ;D
I have a 'few' guitars and can't play, but they are good for dexterity exercise and annoying the missus. Really fancy a six string banjo. Title: Re: Guitar Hero Post by: BikerGran on December 11, 2015, 08:02:31 PM I had a guitar once - I was useless at learning to play it.

Title: Re: Guitar Hero Post by: JayJay on December 13, 2015, 01:50:34 AM When I saw the title I thought it was going to be about the console 'game'.
I have a PS2 which I bought as a good way to play Blu Ray films. Knowing I had this my daughter gave me the guitar and drums plus the mikes for Guitar Hero. Well during the school half term I had my Son and my three Grandchildren to stay and boy did we have fun. So unlike Andy's soloist, if you can't cut it I would thoroughly recommend the console version instead. The only downside is that yes, muggins here, has to now store all the equipment.
