Title: International Classic Car Show, Isle of Wight Post by: phunkie hiboy on September 23, 2015, 07:37:47 PM We went to the Isle of Wight, last weekend, for the International Classic Car Show. Held every year, for the past 13 years, for charity in two venues, Newport on the Saturday and Ryde on the Sunday.
Heres a few snaps, in no particular order, of some of the more unusual cars around. We stayed in a converted stable for the weekend and this was the view on Saturday morning. Ferries were quite full on Friday and Monday, so plenty of cars from the mainland. I couldn't make that out either, and I was there!! Good to see a pair of Trident Clippers (the white and red fastbacks in the first two photos), pretty darn rare they are too. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trident_(car_company) Thought the Anglia was very desirable and very well done. Can't remember the last time I saw such a tidy Viva HB. Hands up who spotted the reg plate on the Maserati Merek .......
