Just wanted to put an apology in first, I was on here a lot at the start of the year when I was planning a trike build but the reality of life lead to me having to sell and I felt a bit bad about it so have stayed away, apologies Andy and everyone else that offered help.  Alas, due to relocation my other dream is going to have to be sold and I'm desperately hoping someone on here will have the enthusiasm to take it on and get it on the road, I've spoken to a good few people who have had the same idea and never got it started, well, now is your chance to get your hands on an almost-finished project and live the dream!  I've got an ad in the for sale section, it is a sale but the money side of it is far less important than finding a kindred spirit so don't be afraid to get in touch if this is something you've always fancied doing.  Thanks again everyone, Phil.

Ya muppet! -we're hardly gonna banish you from the forum for not having a build on the go are we. Life just gets in the way sometimes. There's more important things in life, (I'm told). You're still more than welcome here.  ;)

Wareham in Dorset a great little place, can get crowded in the summer though, used to go down a lot when I was younger my then girlfriends parents had a caravan down there. Some nice roads.

No more projects for me! - though I do still own a fibreglass T bucket body that Loony & I were going to build with a Reliant engine.

Err, yeah, very temporary measure I hope!  Looking at your avatar Stinkey - 'I can't stop building stuff', I think we might get on, I'll look you up when I get down there.  As an update, I've been looking at my bike and I don't think I can go through with selling it, every bit I look at has been fabricated, usually at least three times, by myself, I guess I'm just gonna have to dig in and get it finished in the next couple of months and bring it with me  ;D

Well don't panic to finish it; just bring it with you? 

Wise decision mate. Find somewhere safe to store it & plug away at it at your leisure. Sell it in haste & you'll probably regret it.

When you say Quick ford pop..I take it you mean quick to build it ? ( no such thing I can hear people shouting ) be quicker if you've got help ? ::)

Well I have heard some strange questions in my time, but this must rank up there with the "doozies ???", like,..."how long is a piece of string!" really, but there you go, however, in case its any use, I have been building a 3 wheeler, pre war Morgan type vehicle, for the past 3years+, and still a way to go, however it depends a great deal on how much you purchase already done!....Morrag

It's just a bit of fun, I know as well as anyone that it really will take twice as long and twice as much money as you think plus an additional percentage that depends on whether you want to spend more of the time part or more of the cash part to get finished!

Well a piece of string is a piece of string..but now a hole is a different thing ?..it took me 19 years from start to finish to build this..but I helped build many other projects along the way though ?

A hotrod? Don't do it! That ways lies bankruptcy, divorce & the slow descent into madness  :P
I've just spent the evening sitting in the cab of mine outside Loony's workshop, with just the cat for company, clutching a 2" square of wet n dry paper, rubbing filler down till it was too dark to see what I was doing. My advice -take up fishing instead.  :P

Oh no, string theory!. I heard the whole universe was one big piece of string going back and forth in time. Therefore it will take a universe of time to do anything.  Which fits my personal experience.
