Title: Metal spinning
Post by: Olds on June 19, 2015, 11:31:19 AM
Had a quick go at metal spinning using the Myford.
Results were ok until the centre of the work piece broke out. May have too much pressure on this area.
Has anyone else tried this ( with success ), if so any tips or help would be most welcome.

I've got to be honest,I've never herd of it before.
But it looks like a pleasurable thing to do.

if you are using aluminium it should be anneald first  as the  forming work hardens it and it becomes brittle  depending on how much shape you putin it may need to be anneald more than once
