Compressed air between the rubber and the bars.

Women's hair spray -lubricates when wet, then sets like a glue. Makes your bike smell nice too :)

A long thin screwdriver push it in from the open end once in raise it up a bit and squirt some wd40 or duck oil in there and give them a good twist, make sure to clean them out if you are going to re-use them.

With air they usually do.

Little bit of glue but don't overdo it.Upholstery glue will do it and give you time to get them on properly.

:) Old trick passed on to me by an ageing biker when I was a teenager after I found a can of hairspray in his toolbox.  :P

Hairspray works. I have no hair to speak of but luckily Mrs Dslam still has some but rough up a small area for it to grip to as shiny chrome is not the best surface.
I just read that back. I didn't mean rough up mrs Dslam. Oh poo you know what I mean. ;)

I've always used hairspray since my old bmx days. Slide a thin screwdriver down the grip, lil squirt of hairspray, twist the grip an off it comes!

I use soapy water to put grips on,works a treat and doesn,t harm the rubber.
