 ;D Nah, I just like steam fairs & country shows. Went to several in my Pop in 2013. I've been to the Rudgwick show a few times & just like it's very informal, friendly atmosphere. I did deliver a copy of Old Glory magazine to a customer today though.

Worth noting that on the Sat & Sun, its also the Wings & Wheels at Dunsfold, so traffic issues are possible if heading to Rudgwick from the Guildford area.  ;)

Spent the day at the Wings & Wheels show yesterday & had a great time, although the Vulcan bomber my friend & I had gone to see didn't show, due to bad weather in the Midlands. I was planning on doing Rudgewick today but it's wet & miserable out there, so a quiet day at home I think.

Rick and I went on the Saturday. I didn't enjoy it as much as previous years and it was £10 each to get in. I didn't think there was as much there as in previous years.

We also went to the Great Dorset Steam Fair on the Wednesday. £15 each with a pre bought ticket. The GDSF could easily contain 10 Rudgwicks. I really enjoyed it this year especially after achieving bugger all last year in the great mud bath.

Shame about the Vulcan Andy. I got to see it at the Bournemouth Air Show. Well I just sat on the cliff top about 400 yards from my home and watched it fly over. My best view of it was about 8 years ago when I lived nearer to Bournemouth and again I was on the cliff top. It flew right over my head. It was so close and the noise was deafening. Everybody on the cliff top was just amazed. A real jaw dropping experience.

We were at Bournemouth too JJ, stood on the beach. Quite surreal to be paddling in the sea while warships are anchored on the horizon & bombers fly overhead. One of my workmates belongs to the "Vulcan to the sky" fund raising group that donates money to keep it flying. She likes to see it as often as she can & with it being permanently grounded at the end of this season, we're doing as many airshows as we can. We might be at the Cold War jets event in Coventry next weekend.

I'll post the full set of snapshots when I get a chance. We were also at the Wings & Wheels show at RAF Dunsfold last weekend, but the Vulcan didn't show due to bad weather in the Midlands.
