Just a reminder as its only a few days aware, and according to the forecast it may be a tad chilly!

Went along with Dslam & bumped into Rick, a chilly day with a frosty start, but the sun shone, and the indoor show helped with the temp.

Took a few snaps

First is a BSA of (at a guess) around 1930, in need of some TLC me thinks

This looks likes a really nicely put together (new build maybe??) Norton sprint/drag bike with a Shorrocks blower, be good to see it run.............

Note the 'modern' front and rear wheel & brake set up (cast wheels & disc brakes)

This is "Epsom Salt", a bike built by Dick Smith at Baron's (in Epsom) for a chap I know called Peter Allen (that's him in the STP shirt).

Peter rode the bike at Bonneville and did pretty well..............

Note the absence of a front brake - its not a requirement for Bonneville, and you're considered by many to be better off without one because if you grab a handful on the salt, you'll be off! (think of it like riding on snow).

Very nice bike in my book, well done chaps

Lastly, if you have an old T140 oil-in-frame Triumph, this chap, Fast Harry, can make it look like this for you.

Particularly like the swing-arm and forks, gives the bike a good 'balance' in the aesthetics dept when added to the flat-track style tank & bars.

Makes me want to raid the piggy bank (again!) Great show by the looks of it. That Aerial Arrow looks a bit like mine from the late 60's. I scratched around a few local tracks on it, slowly cutting more and more body work off. Briely Smith tank and seat unit?? Mine used to leak a tad, home made expansion boxes, sounded good if nothing else, home brew rear sets. It used to suffer from lube issues and sieze up quite often, real 2 stroke days. Wish I was there. :D
