Title: Making a saddle. Post by: andyrennison on July 27, 2014, 08:50:25 PM Ok, I am totally unhappy with the way i started with my SEAT. I really want a proper looking SADDLE. This thing is way to heavy and just ugly. I am thinking of keeping the angle iron rails but forming a 3D saddle out of 15 or 22 mm marine ply then covering with foam and buttoned leather. Anyone got any thoughts on that? PS - this is an old pic, the springs are more upright now and work great.
