I had never been to the Ardingly Showground before and I really enjoyed it. Perhaps it wouldn't be as good on a wet day as the numerous outside stalls are spread around the site. However, today's weather was lovely and long may it continue. There was a very good turn out of bikes in the main hall. The condition of the display bikes varied quite considerably as did their age. Rick took quite a few photos so hopefully he will post them as soon as he can. There was a really good turn out of biker visitors and the bike parking also made interesting viewing. Plenty of trikes turned up too and we passed loads on the roads as well. Shows what a bit of sunshine can do. There was quite a lot of jumbly and plenty of stalls selling new stuff. A good mix of stuff too. I have to admit, my favourite stall was one selling loads of artisan loaves, cakes and yummy eatables just waiting to be consumed with a nice cup of tea. Think it sold for £85-00 !!
