Yep. :)
Got fed up with people looking at it and then asking, what make of engine is it? ::)
At least now they have some excuse for not knowing. :D

Planning on doing the same to the Reliant motor in Loony & my T bucket roadster. We'll probably get Loon's Dad to mill the lettering off. What method did you use Dave?

Nothing as high tech as a mill !
Mallet and chisel, followed by a wire brush in a drill. The ally is so soft that I used a small wood chisel.

Ooh! That'd have Cracked Casing written all over it if I tried that!

What's that box shaped item that the coil bracket is bolted to?

It' just a cover for the starter motor and associated wiring. The later starters like mine are the pre engaged type, with a big solenoid attached. This hit my ankle and also looked pugly.

Bit cold in the garage for that sort of thing. But I can always dream.

Looking really neat . :)
Just a wee suggestion regarding the fuel pump .
If that is the plastic top version I would change it soon as possible due to the fact that a good few owners have had the pipe stubs come loose and , in one case I know of , detach completely !!! :o
.
What is a scantily clad female ????  ;D
