Maybe something like a mark 2 Consul? Cool looking cars, with big bench seats front & back. Bung a diesel engine in & it'd be a good useable daily driver.

Title: Re: diesel powered interesting daily driver Post by: kapri on January 20, 2014, 09:59:40 AM Do you want a diesel for some specific reason ? There's some good economical but powerful 4 pots out there at sensible prices . 40+ to the gallon from a 2 litre , all self contained ,no need to adapt electronics as will run on standard ECU and only takes 3 wires to get it to run .Look at DOHC 8 valve Sierras and Granadas , manual or auto are both good.
