Just got Gpz 750 front end it has a 16" front wheel will this be suitable or better with 17 or18.

We used a GPZ front end on Flap's orange trike, (the "Flapster"), purely because we found a complete front end cheap at the Netley Marsh autojumble. The smaller wheel didn't make any difference to the handling, but personally I always thought a bigger diameter would've looked more in proportion to the rest of the trike. Depends on your build style really.

This is the trike that inspired me to build one so if thats a 16" I will just go with what I have.

its all down to tyres too, mines a 16 but you have less choice of tyres,
not as important as on a bike front though, imo,
trail / rake all come into it too, prob more important than wheel size for trike steering

Never measured rake or trail -about 45 degrees of rake & wide handlebars. Sorted.  ;D

If it looks right, it is right. Probably, possibly, well perhaps.

Only problem I do have is I bought two 17" 5 spoke khans for the rear with 215/40 tyres on and don't know how it will look

No but the roads up hear are not to bad so I thought I would get away with it

I can't remember if Flap's were 14 or 15" slot mags, with fat rubber cos he wanted an old school custom look. I do remember us having to roll them all the way across the Beaulieu autojumble site back to the carpark.

Nice wheels. But may give a harsh ride. A sprung seat might be a good idea.
Suggest you draw what the trike will look like with the components you have.
I know not everyone does it, but I designed my trike before starting,(some here are so talented they don't need to). This can save a lot of problems later. And means that you have a good idea of what the trike will look like when finished.

That works equally well. I always used to mock mine up with parts propped in place on blocks of wood etc. Sometimes what you envisage in your head can look completely different when you stand back & look at it in the flesh.

Yeah, I've clocked up a lot of air miles over the years.

I reckon those wheels will look fine with a GPZ front wheel!
