Title: spanners.
Post by: poprodder on December 01, 2013, 04:41:03 PM
hope your ok mate.

taken from rods n sods.

"i was walking home with my missis from the local after having a couple of pints last night ..
when we passed a lass and a couple of old enough to know better lads,,(in thier 30,s) on the opposite side of the road ,
the lass had dropped her pants and was passing things that come naturally in the end of somebodys drive way in full public view .
i happened to comment that they ought to know better and they wouldnt like it in thier driveway ,
well we got chased up the road by the lads and they caught me and gave me a good thumping , i went out like a light and my missis ran for help (we hadnt got a mobile with us)
this all happened just after midnight and i got taken to hospital and kept under observation untill 8.30am this morning,,
the police are involved and were supposed to come and take statements this afternoon ,, they havn,t shown up ,,,, "

Sorry to hear this. Take it easy for a few days (you probably won't)  I expect the local constabulary will eventually call around.

As for

and i thought we lived in a nice quiet village ,,,

Unfortunately, drink and/or drugs can change a normally mild mannered person into a violent thug .

Sorry to hear about your unfortunate incident, but glad you're both alright overall, there don't seem to be anywhere these scumbags don't get!

Glad you're not seriously hurt!

Bloody scumbags, i notice it was a " fair " fight 2-1 !    I live next to an absolute arsehole who is a woman beater ( including his mother ) been in the nick for running a cannabis farm etc , had the latest do with him on Friday, my brother in law had left his car at ours for a few days, parked in front of our house on  the road, i was out side getting the kitcar ready for test when he came home in his Focus, instantly gave me a tirade of abuse about the brother in laws car being there said it made it hard for him to get in between it and next door but ones car, told him i could get a Granada estate in no probs, the reply was more abuse and threatened to run into the car, so i told him he really should rethink that because brother in law would have to come and confront him and he would no stand there like me and take the abuse his reply to that another round of abuse and then as he went in the house threatend to give me a pasteing so i shouted COME ON THEN but he did'nt  come back out, but just in case he did i had the wheel brace in my hand as ive never been a big fighter and im now riddled with osteoarthritis, anyway brother in law took his car so no confrontation happend, proberbly a good thing for  the nobrain sack of s**t next door as Steve the brother in law used to be a hellsangel  and i know s**t for brains did'nt stand a chance. Take care Mike hope the plod get them, shame they cant punish them with a baseball bat!

That's really not good enough Mike - phone again and tell them you're scared to go out!  Or contact the office of the Police Commisioner.  Or the papers!

BG is right, it really isn't good enough. I believe that in cases like this, where someone needs hospital treatment, statements should be taken where possible within 24 hours of the incident.

I cant agree more with BG and ON Mike, and i would like to say that in retrospect that posting my recent experience on this thread might not have been appropriate , sorry.

whoo bl##dy hooo ,,pc plod finally turned up at T time 8 days after the event and said that if statements were to be used in court that they should be taken within 48hours of the incident  . so there wasnt much point taking any ,,. he did apologise for the delay though  ::) ::) ::)

so its been logged for future referance incase anything else happens.

logged as  minor assault assailents unknown,,,,

but also said if i could give them the assailents names and be 100% shure the names were correct then they would look into it further

 F'''ING USELESS W###ERS.
