Title: Re: Indians are back!! Post by: Tony oily bike on November 16, 2013, 12:13:35 AM The idea of each cylinder being over 900cc is kinda cool, bags n bags of luverlee torque 8)
Was lucky enough to visit the Indian Museum in Springfield in the early noughties, run by a little ol' lady who didn't allow photos to be taken. The company that now produces the Indians, Polaris, launched the Victory line of street bikes 14 years ago. (big V-Twin stuff). Maybe if you want a new Indiian and the pennies won't quite stretch, have a look at used Victory. http://www.motorcycle.com/manufacturer/victory.html http://victorymotorcycles.co.uk/motorcycles/choose-your-bike Here's a new Victory with £3000 off list (down to £10,995). Cheapest Indian appx £18,500, so instead of the Indian, you "could" (bank manager allowing), buy the new Victory AND a brand new Triumph Bonneville and still have a few hundred as well! ::) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VICTORY-CROSS-COUNTRY-DELUXE-/151121427872?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item232f89fda0 2010 Hammer 8 Ball with less than 6,000 miles - £8,999 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Victory-Hammer-8-ball-/151131645964?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item233025e80c Title: Re: Indians are back!! Shame they are far too expensive. When I first heard Indian were bringing out a new engine I was hoping for an inline four. |
