Title: Anyone used a trike dolly for towing a bike?
Post by: BikerGran on November 05, 2013, 08:30:37 PM
A friend's bike is a non-starter and she'd like to get it into a mate's shed to have a look as she has no garage - my trike dolly is supposed to be usable for bikes as well, anyone tried it?  It's the wheeled sort.

I have not used one BG but to be honest i would not use it. the bike would tip over when cornering, the trailer not wide enough

Tend to agree with Terry. It depends on how wide the dolly is.
Pulling out onto a main road, I had to put my foot down to get out of the way of some twat speeding and had a narrow bike trailer tip over on me.
Not something I'd want to repeat.
