Title: Garage party anyone?
Post by: andyrennison on November 05, 2013, 10:03:12 AM
Hi all. I have to dismantle my "new" garage on Saturday and move it home. If anyone lives near Bacup and facies helping me tale it down it would be appreciated. Bacon butties provided

The bacon butties are tempting but you are 200 miles too far away I'm afraid.

That or someone's using an estate agents camera. It certainly looks bigger inside, than the outside pics suggested.

did a bit of jet washing some of the panels this evening. Taking forever but they are cleaning up

3 walls are up, and the roof is on. Those steel panels took some lifting on, marking, lifting off, cutting, lifting on, i can tell you. Still, as the roof is on i felt i could have a beer as a topping off celebration

Just one beer ?  :D
If the roof is on then the hard works done. When are you installing the central heating?

Funnily enough it would be a good shack. the radio does not work inside at all (faraday shield), so no local qrm gets in. Had to poke a wire out of a hole to get the fm radio to work. WiFi and mobile - no chance!

Nice shed Andy.Always feels good to sort all the goodies out and re arrange it all! You probably see things in a different way during the build now and it will give you a bit more impetus.Good Luck.

New years resolution ON. Never been in an engineering shop, in fact my last formal metalwork was at school a long time ago, so im learning on the job. That includes the value of tidying up at the end of each day!

I try to tidy up at the end of the day too. It doesnt always happen though and things get worse and worse. It then takes nearly a day to sort.....my lesson learned? Sometimes!!
