Post by: trikerpete on October 27, 2013, 09:32:49 AM
Hello Everyone  :)

Just wondered if anyone else has bought one of these, If so can you tell me what "Pressure Rated Cap" it was supplied with?

Cheers

From memory , Cap pressure is around 1.1 BAR { around 16 PSI } .
At the moment  I have not been able to source a a cap with a lower poundage as these are the tiny cap .
Rad is being sold on ebay by a good company to deal with { read the sellers description }

Thanks for that Fifer. Mine came with 1.1 rated cap so assume its in BAR.
 You mention "TINY CAP", thought they are all one size ???

Standard Mini/Reliant rad cap measures about 2 and a 1/4 inches across the top .
The internal opening on the radiator itself measures about 1 inch and 5/8 .

2 sizes of 'normal 'cap in that you have a long and short neck. The physically smaller caps( like on that rad )  are used on Japaneses cars :)
