well after parting with this old girl a couple of years ago  i realised i still missed her  :'( :'(

so i,v bought her back  :) :) :) ,, she comes home on thursday  :)

she was a derilict heap when i first got her but had less than 3000 miles on the clock  ex USAF stairs service vehicle

i did a hell of a lot to bring her up to sctatch  and she,s acctually the last vehicle i rebuilt at ,wonderland, whilst my dad was still knocking about so she,s got a bit of sentimental value .
and she,s still only got just over 6000 on the clock.

I can see why you would want it back I love those type of trucks.
I would have had a hard job of letting it go in the beginning

GMC is aboard the DRESDEN EXPRESS out at sea between savanah georgia and norfolk virginia i,m tracking it on  MARINE TRAFFIC . COM.

Now all you need is a transporter trailer to go behind the GMC and you have your own rolling car show  ;D

That Marine Traffic site is interesting, on the live world map, there are some 5,000 vessles at present in and around the english channel :o I wonder how those figures compare to 50 years ago.

Interesting figures cos when we cross the channel from Poole to Cherbourg we rarely see more than 2 or 3 ships!
