Well, up and out early, and apart from a 5 minute shower mid morning the weather was great. Collected a few parts that were already ordered, made a few contacts for future parts supply and ended up finding a couple of bargains. The first of which was a pair of big Healey head lamp rims, these are used on the US Metropolitians and are normally £25-35, so £5 for a pair I thought was good value. The second was a pair of air filters. I've been looking for something a bit period and a bit unusual for a while now. On my last pass around the field, I found a pair of period (late 50s, early 60s)pancake air filters fitted to a pair of SU carbs from a MG TA/TC. At first the seller didn't want to split them from the carbs, but you know what cash money does? They just need a little bit of modification to take a longer filter, so we can fit our period bellmouths inside with enough clearance.

Whilst there today, I bumped into a few people I knew including JJ.
My vote for "machine" of the day is this beauty .......................

I have no idea what that is, but it's gorgeous.
Was it busy there today Chris? Mr & Mrs Brock were there too.

yep , nice day out , splash of rain early on drove us into the North Hants Tyres tent , best part of £300 later it had stopped and we escaped . Loads of stuff to browse as always but very little early English Ford so I am still looking for a cheap set of Pop hubcaps . Several Reliant engines and boxes but no props so I still need one of those or a metre of 2" bore tube . Nice to see Rick and Jay Jay again .

Well Andy no car or bike parts, a Tasmanian Devil on a motorbike ornament and four large heavy duty plastic sheets to make a shelter to work on the Chevy.

The blue combination P.H took a liking to is a French 1929 Majestic powered by a 500cc Chaise engine.
