the g clamp hardly fits between the 2 halves so it dosen't push straight which makes it worse. they do split which would let me use a vise but i've never did that,what seal's the 2 halfs? I know you shouldn't, but a pair of thin wedges might do it. They should go back fairly easily, if not it suggests that it's time for an overhaul. Remove the calipers from the frame and retire to the shed. Hold the caliper in a vice then pull the pistons all the way out. Clean the piston and the caliper bore the push the piston back in. Refit the calipers and bleed. NO POINT JUST PUSHING THE PISTONS BACK IN....THEY WILL NOT LOOSEN ON THEIR OWN AND YOU WILL END UP WITH A SIEZED FRONT BRAKE. ;) Title: Re: siezed calipers Post by: scannerzer on June 28, 2013, 10:54:38 PM that'll be for sunday morning then T-bone i'll give it a go
