I know you said the show seems to be fading a bit but I have always enjoyed it because of the effort the clubs go to and the willingness of their members to share their knowledge. Only trouble is, is that many of these members are getting on in years and a lot of their knowledge and memories of past biking escapades will pass with them.

When was the last time we had weather like that in february?

People seem to think Christmas is in the middle of Winter, but it doesn't really kick in till the New Year. The wind's been bitterly cold down here in Hampshire today.

The second one looks like a new build. Technically they're "Sprint" machines (as opposed to "Drag"). The sprint rules (ACU) have a huge capacity for variation of machine, as can be seen by these. Tevor Duckworth is an old hand at sprinting. I think his trike was at the VMCC Festival of 1000 bikes in 2012. We've had the shiny BMW outfit at one of our VMCC Sprints recently. |
