Title: culinary delights
Post by: dobber on September 26, 2012, 04:42:42 PM
feeling peckish i had a glance in the cupboard, not a lot to choose from, ended up with a can of spam and 3 not so crispy cream crackers [more like cream bendys].   I'm not an animal, i did slice the spam and warm it up. I also still have a best before 06 can of tuna, like in the McIntyre sketch. yesterday it was crumpets and spaghetti hoops.
Anyone got some other scrumptious ideas.

Hey up Dan, how you doing.   I do have my own special burger up at the pizza shop, pass it on my walk home from the local. started best part of 20 year ago when i had had a sherbet too much according to the owner.   Its a 1/4 lb burger on the usual bed of lettuce, red onion and tomato then on top he puts a mix of bolognaise sauce with extra red yellow and green peppers with ham and onion all mixed together,a side of well done fries. when i get home i have some of the mix off the top with the fries then have to turn the burger over to eat as the bottoms soggy..
think that may now be my choice tonight now...

that sounds good twisted, used to munch on a pack of corned beef slices as i wandered round the waste land that is tesco.
just topped up my meager diet with a chicken curry n fried rice  with salt n pepper spare ribs. not all on my own, shared with company. quite nice while watching the looneys that are the red bull x fighters..
memo for morning, must go jogging.

Dobber...Food-borne botulism
The symptoms of food-borne botulism usually begin with:

•nausea (feeling sick)
•vomiting
•diarrhoea, followed by constipation (an inability to empty your bowels)
It usually takes 12 to 36 hours after eating contaminated food for more serious neurological symptoms (symptoms that affect the nervous system) to begin (see below). However, it can sometimes take as little as six hours or as long as eight days.

If you have consumed (eaten or drunk) a large amount of the toxin produced by the Clostridium botulinum bacteria, you may not experience these early symptoms. Instead, you may develop neurological symptoms straight away.

Thought you might need this info.

By the way my favorite is Homous on rye bread...yum
