If you need to BIVA it Mike, I'm pretty sure the lights, including indicators have to be visable from 45 degrees from the front & back of the vehicle -if you stood at the left corner of the truck, could you see the right semaphore? The reason we didn't fit them to mine. Kapri will be the one to ask on this.

just playing with idea,s my truck only had a small tail light attached to the end of the number plate and sema-fore indicators  still got the original number plates and rear lights  :)

My Austin A30 has only got trafficators for signaling and passes the MOT with no problems.

think i,m gonna go with the original traficators,, but with some small indicator lamps near to or built into the tail lights and some small one,s near the headlamps ,, just to be double safe with all the idiots on the roads ,, ::)

But are there size and positioning rules for flashing indicators?  Cos if you fir them they'll probably have to comply!

Lots of lamp options with these. i like the look of the divers helmet style lamps on old cars, the stainless ones are steep on price :o but the rubber ones are affordable and would give that rugged commercial black yet period look. another option wouuds be the duolamps they look oldy worldy but you get a back light indicator and a number plate lamp if you want.
