I had most of those hung from my bedroom ceiling when I was a kid. :) The Stuka was my favourite.
Odd question, but what's the structure in the roof in the first pic of page 3? Looks like part of a control tower or something. Is that part of the exhibits or just part of the building?! Title: Re: not exactly a show Post by: renegade53 on August 27, 2012, 08:22:27 PM i forgot to take a pic of it, but its a gondala from under an airship. what is it about having model aircraft hanging from the ceiling as kids. i used to have 'em as well and every so often me dad would get 'em down and we'd dust 'em off
Title: Re: not exactly a show Post by: Manky Monkey on August 27, 2012, 08:43:25 PM ;D Looks like an interesting place. I only know most of those as Airfix kits. I'd love to see the full sized ones.
Title: Re: not exactly a show Post by: renegade53 on August 27, 2012, 08:48:36 PM the 'stuka caught me by surprise the size of it. when you enter the sunderland each section you go into a sensor sets of a recording about that section
