Title: Wings & Wheels, Surrey 27th August '12
Post by: Manky Monkey on August 26, 2012, 08:24:38 PM
Actually, this is a 3 day show, but tomorrow's the last day.
Not cheap at 22 quid a ticket, but if you're into aircraft or performance cars, I'm told it's well worth it.
Held at Dunsfold aerodrome, (where they film the BBC's Top Gear shows), between Guildford & Godalming in Surrey.

I never understand why organisers want to charge vehicle owners to display their motors. Surely they wouldn't have a show at all without the vehicles?

Went to the first one in 2005 as a spectator with Dslam, and was disappointed, to put it mildly. Never been back (and I'm a supporter of Brooklands too!)

Have various buds who take comp bikes to run, and only hear negative things from them......

Seems such a shame, as there's huge potential for the event, but they get the numbers through the gates each year, so maybe that's all that matters..........   mmmmmm?
