Title: arghhhh! Hotels! Post by: ROD on July 18, 2012, 04:21:17 PM Been looking at hotels in Ashford,(ish)Kent area as a one night stopover before getting on the euro tunnel train.Some are rubbish,some appear good,but reviews are bad. Obviously its all in the eye of the beholder so to speak,but I just cant find a nice hotel with safe parking for the trike,that looks like the reviews are good! The real nice ones are fully booked.

Post by: Manky Monkey on July 18, 2012, 06:40:44 PM Depends what level of service you're looking for, & whether you view that stay as part of the holiday or just part of the journey, but I always use Premier Inns. The rooms are always clean & comfortable, the food's fine & the carparking's always been O.K. Taz & I spent a week in the Scottish Highlands a couple of years ago & stayed the whole week in a Premier Inn. Very pleasant.
