well i was going to hollowell steam fair,northampton,  in my van for the weekend,but the rain has put me off,the forecast looks really bad,......all dressed up and nowhere to go now >:(

we should have been moving house today  ::) its got delayed,, good job the local roads are flooded, cant see the kerbstone,s outside and we are on a high point  :o :o :o

I was sat at home this morning trying to decide if I should go to work on the bike or not, sky looked a bit black. Luckily I was a bit later than usual getting ready and it had started to rain before I left so I took the car. Good job because it has hardly dropped below heavy rain since then and got to really heavy at times. One customer near Talke Pits has lost power this morning Trev and still out, you okay where you are?

i bet spring gardens is swimming again,, ::) and axe edge wont be much fun ,,,

Caz work over at Stoke and they were saying it wasnt good in places when I got to work

i once watched the river come up 20ft at boydons yard at winkhill near waterhouses in one afternoon  :o

The show is still on, hardcore has been layed at the entrance to make getting in & out easier, go for it Trev.....what else you gonna do?

just checked around up here and  ,winterton show,, at the other end our village is still on this weekend and weve had a full months rain this morning  :o :o

Been pouring down again while I've been trudging round the streets of Basingstoke, Hampshire, delivering the Mail this morning. I was absolutely drenched. I don't mind getting wet once in a while, but every bloomin' day for the whole Summer's starting to get on me nerves now. I get back to the sorting office & have to hang all my delivery bags, (I have 7 bags of Mail on my delivery), up to dry overnight. Then they get soaked again the next day.
My truck's at Loony's workshop in B/stoke so I work on it after work most days, but when I'm cold & wet it's the last thing I want to do, so headed straight home again today.
Just arrived home in Guildford, Surrey & now the sun's come out!

A group of my Round Britain Rally friends are camping at Conkers near Swadlincote in derbyshire - I'm sooooo glad I declined to join them!

i chickened out,now the suns out at home today,i saw on the telly they were telling people not to go to siverstone (northhants) as the car parking was not accsessable and traffic was backed up for miles,i dont know how far this is from hollowell.

yeh okay in biddulph where i am,bloody suns shining now.

Got the wrong weekend, they're at Hayfield near Stockport - camping in sunshine!  It's pouring here in dorset, I just had to dig a channel into the lawn so the water could drain from the side of our house!

I have been in Hull for the weekend and apart from a bit of rain Sunday morning it has been a nice weekend. Must say though that the fairing on this bike is absolutely stunning for keeping the rain off, never had anything close to it.
