Title: Hydraulic Bike Lift Post by: hunter on January 26, 2012, 09:45:19 PM As promised some pics and drawrings,
I shall try and talk my way through this build,Hope you can understand my description on how i built this bench,if there is anything you don't understand, please ask.remember i built this a long time ago, I do have another that i want to take pics of,unlike this one it is made from 2"X1" Box,and is a little bigger, although not necessary better,i will explain why later. (http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll259/spares_photos/ench008.jpg) (http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll259/spares_photos/ench007.jpg) (http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll259/spares_photos/ench010.jpg) OK,the first two pics are of the bench top,the first drawring gives you the dimensions of the top, Notice the side view shows that i doubled up on the side tube'ssorry should have drawn that in. Title: Re: Hydraulic Bike Lift Post by: hunter on January 26, 2012, 10:22:58 PM OK, Got some more pics and drawrings,
(http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll259/spares_photos/ench005.jpg) (http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll259/spares_photos/ench003.jpg) (http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll259/spares_photos/ench002.jpg) (http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll259/spares_photos/ench004.jpg) (http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll259/spares_photos/ench009.jpg) OK, This drawring is the base, you will see the jack mounting pionts, the jack is a 2ton car trolley jack, with wheels removed, but don't throw them away,we will use them later well 2 of them anyway. the measurements are for the jack that i have,so before you get welding to many tubes in i suggest you get yourself a jack.
