Title: Hydraulic Bike Lift
Post by: hunter on January 26, 2012, 09:45:19 PM
As promised some pics and drawrings,
I shall try and talk my way through this build,Hope you can understand my description on how i built this bench,if there is anything you don't understand, please ask.remember i built this a long time ago,
I do have another that i want to take pics of,unlike this one it is made from 2"X1" Box,and is a little bigger,
although not necessary better,i will explain why later.

OK,the first two pics are of the bench top,the first drawring gives you the dimensions of the top,
Notice the side view shows that i doubled up on the side tube'ssorry should have drawn that in.

OK, This drawring is the base, you will see the jack mounting pionts, the jack is a 2ton car trolley jack,
with wheels removed, but don't throw them away,we will use them later well 2 of them anyway.
the measurements are for the jack that i have,so before you get welding to many tubes in i suggest you get yourself a jack.
