Title: rear swinging arm
Post by: klogan45 on August 16, 2006, 02:08:26 PM
Hi Guys, back again with yet another question!!!! But first the good news
I have managed to get a reliant axle, robin 750...YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
That will make thing easier but now crunch time....
I've removed the rear swinging arm from the Virago 535 and am looking for help as to where and how to cut it off so that the shaft will exit the side. I will then be able to fit the axle without having to shorten one side of it and not have the diff off centre, or should that be center? Who cares about spelling anyway!!!!
I really would appreciate any help, pics would be even better if possible.
Thanks in advance.
Ride safe, have fun, take care
Keith

Noit sure what you mean here.  I can't really see how you can do it without shortening one side of the axle.  At least, maybe I can, but it didn't work on my mate's Guzzi trike, too many angles.
