Title: Trike Forks Post by: WOMBLE121 on November 07, 2011, 04:21:11 PM Here`s hoping someone can help. The forks on my trike that I`m building are 37mm x 31" long, and threaded at the top. I think they are off a GS 850. I am looking for longer forks are there any out there that will fit my yolks as I don`t want to change them. ???
Title: Re: Trike Forks Post by: ByzMax on November 07, 2011, 05:47:05 PM You can get extensions made as yours are threaded. The extensions will be strong enough as long as the join is in between the top and bottom yokes.
Failing that you can get extended fork tubes. Title: Re: Trike Forks Post by: WOMBLE121 on November 07, 2011, 08:04:22 PM Thanks very much for the info. Any idea what the forks are off? Don`t really know much about bikes, on a learning curve.

Depending on how much meat is available in the yokes, a possibility might be a slightly larger dia (and longer) set of forks with yokes opened up to suit ?? (which is 'changing' them in the machining sense, but 'not changing' them in the replacement stakes) Maybe have a look around an autojumble? Kempton Sat 28th Jan.
