well i,v gone and done it ;)

been back to see a nice man and done a deal  for a 1955/56 chevy truck

got to get our richard to sort out the pic,s then you all can tell me what you think  ;)

A bit of stopper and a couple of rattle cans will soon fix that ;)

a few details

1955  2nd series  chevrolet   task force  3100/3200

fitted with a pontiac/gmc 347 cubic inch v8  and a strato-flight 4speed auto transmission

all chassis ,,brake,s and steering allready overhauled

some panel work to do/redo

all glass needs replacing (allthough some is savable :D)

all wiring ,,defunct ,,,

wheels,,tyres  us    allthough i got some alloys thrown in the deal


any suggestions for  colours and little tweaks,, will be considered  ;) ;)


       so what do you all think ?????


  have i gone daft again ,,,,,,,,,,, :D :D :D :D :D :D ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)

Take the bed off, (& sell it for a fortune to recover some of the costs), then fit a wreckin'/recovery crane. You're bound to have something suitable at Wonderland.  ;D

where ya bin clive ??  been waiting for youre input

i thought  yellow with white roof ,grill, +bumper
it was an original painted bumper model and chrome bumpers are bl**dy expsensive

Not been around on here much as I've completely lost my painting mojo at the moment ( well, for the last month or so!), still been lurking though and keeping up to date on all these amazing projects still! :)

brown  n,  cream,  pretty close to the company colours of z&w wade  the company dad worked for .. for many years.. there,s were darkish brown with a yellow roof a yellow panels behind the sign writing
its there workshop that i grew up in

i,ll spELL IT    BIG,,, BUT THATS ABOUT IT,,,,

i started at a very young age and listened to what i was told ( or i got a belt round the ear)  then  pissed about for a year then i served my time as a restoration engineer
all this time i was working evenings and nights on cars ,,plant, and heavy machinary ============================================================================================================================= i,m knackered  now



                                                SO WHAT DO,ES THAT TELL THE YOUNG UNS ??????

well yes and  no  ,,  not good  had a beano of a fall out with the bloke i was getting it from   >:( >:(  long story  missing / dissapearing parts etc,,etc,,  so its not looking good at the mo :( :( :(


plus i,ve got alot of family trouble going on at the mo     and i,m still  chasing ,,debters,,, >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(
