Just been given a 97 XJ 600. engine sounds veeeeeeeery nice too. the only problem is that to get it in to 1st gear you have to roll the bike back just a little bit and select 1st. The bloke that gave it to me was quoted £600 to fix it. I could probably get an engine for a couple of hundred squids but..........

I have a CX 500 engine

I have a reliant axle

I have a bit of steel, pipe and box

put the lot together and trike it.

loads and loads and loads of fun!
Any thoughts? Putting another engine in and riding it isn't really an option coz I've got my xv535 for that and I think the xj would scare the pants off me
. I wouldn't like to get nicked for that
When I started the engine I was scared
