To me? It's not so much the house, although impressive, it's the extensive grounds. There are 1000 acres of land, some used for a deer park, some private but alot open to the public. My pics are crap, but there ya go:

And this is a farm workers house, it is in the shape of a cross ;D I'm weird, i like looking at weird and old buildings :o

Me too matey. Love old architecture. I always think of the human element of places like Winchester cathedral -how many blokes did it take to build? How deep are the foundatons? Where the hell do you start on a building that big? How did they build it so tall with such basic tools? -no modern scaffolding, cement mixers, machinery of any kind etc. Very impressive.
Nice looking place you got there Urban.  ;D

It was a running joke on the 100% Biker forum as a means of distracting people from whatever they were arguing about, but I came into the conversation late so never found out where it originated.

;D Thanks. Actually, I'm not entirely convinced it's still alive cos it never grows or sheds leaves or anything.
I keep saying that once the trikey stuff's all done I'd love to try some metal sculpture. I enjoy creating stuff & it'd be fun to do it just for fun with no pressures to get done in time for shows etc.
