Lovely morning at Newbury today Smiley A little disappointed by the number of cars but the weather made up for that, as did meeting JJ and Chevy Rick. Nice to see you two. Smiley May have been other Monkeys there but no one that I recognised.

Missed you there this morning Dave. Also missed Scottie the hotrod haulier. Bumped into Jay Jay & Rick though, as well as local drag racer Ken Brookes, (owner/driver of the famous "Roarin Rat" Chevy). His birthday today apparently.
These racecourse jumbles vary a lot in size -some are huge & some are just a handful of cars. Today's was enough to keep me interested for a couple of hours. I left around noon, when a lot of the display cars were already going, but I passed several classics & half a dozen street rods on the way back, all obviously heading that way. I bought a number 7 Record wood plane for one of my workmates who always asks me to look out for one, plus a couple of heavy duty trolley wheels to make a new welder cart.
As you say, a gorgeous morning, so a good excuse to get out & go somewhere.
A few piccies.

Lancia pick-up. Now that's unusual.
