That would be a shame Mike. It's still ten weeks away, hopefully things will have changed for the better, well before then.

Yeah, thanks for that Tel!
Got to check with the organisers about insurance documents. Because the show's jointly run by the Thornycroft preservation society & the local council, they like to have lots of paperwork to check. The guy I've always dealt with is retiring from running the club display field this year. He was always happy to just wave us in without worrying about forms. I need to check the new guy's equally easy going.

I was chatting to another forum member by PM about it only last night Terry. Going to be a busy week for me at work cos my usual partner's on holiday, but if I finish early enough tomorrow, I'm going to call at the old organiser's house & clarify it with him. I'll let you know.

Right, I spoke to the old organiser of the club display area this afternoon.
All we need is registration numbers & insurance company name & policy number for any road going vehicles, (those that are actually registered & insured). Unfinished projects or off road vehicles don't need anything.
It's purely to give the council bods some details to keep them happy. So I need to pass on a list to the organisers a couple of weeks before the show.

Can't remember, does that include my car as I'll be towing the trike?

Or just the trike?
