at this point in the rebuild ,remember that elf n safe t issue earlier well it decided it wasn't getting the recognition that it thought it deserved so it set about making a name for itself even though we strapped the rear end of the young lady to bench with all the jiggery pokery at the business end the erm.. chair sort of started moving and it was decided to beat a hasty retreat to ground level with her quite a good idea cos once there it can't fall any further
now talking of elf n whatsit and straps check out the working end of the angle grinder
the lesson to be learned here is never drag a power tool towards you by the lead because sometimes they don't like it and magic happens they turn themselves on and pick up anything they can to use as a weapon when they get close to you
fiendish things power tools

bottom mount line up lovely the gap was to narrow so angle grinder out on engine an a length of 8mm threaded bar through so adjustment could be made on rest of brackets then frame was turned upright again and the top mount laid in

these are the origional plates of the yammy engine as you can see they do not fit too snuggly so wayne cut and welded the old plates to match but the welder strted to play up it didn't want do as it was told (bloody power tools) and they looked a mess but I have every confidence that in a couple of days you will see pics of the greatest workman ship that you will bow down in his presence

Frame number on a pop rivetted plate was ok some years ago but they say it has to be stamped directly onto the frame now

Shes on a Q plate and registered in 1991 so it may have been ok then Huh But we shall still add the frame no to the head stock before we paint the frame
