After lurking for a few weeks I thought it was about time I registered and introduced myself. Im Marcus, and Psycho triko is my dads toy that we built. Im mostly into old Vws and have three that still need finishing! A bus and two bugs. I would also be building a Triumph bobber and a model A rod if I had the time and money! Grin
I do a bit of bodywork, welding and most things to do with keeping old impractical vehicles on the road Wink under the name Lunatic Fringe autos. Ive just got a new workshop just outside Basingstoke, so feel free to drop in for a cuppa once we have moved in!

Hello Marcus.  Wink
Post the address of the workshop, or the phone number if you prefer, when you're set up. Flap plans to bring his trike tank down to you to have a couple of black stripes added. I saw your dad's VDub at the Basingstoke Transport Festival last year but it wasn't painted then. Looks great. I was talking to an auto upholsterer in Eastleigh yesterday who specialises in bike seats & VW campers. His phone number's in the Links for Commercial Purposes bit if you need it.
Everybody seems to have their own site these days so if you've got one send us a link -& if you haven't, d'ya fancy writing us something? I've seen a couple of painted crash helmets at your old shop. How about a step by step article on how you paint them? Or a piece on prepping bodywork prior to paint? or a few piccies & a write up on any interesting vehicles you've had through the shop recently?
-Don't worry. I hassle everybody for contributions when they join! Would be nice to have some more variety in the articles though.
Welcome Sir Grin

Thats no problem mate! When were in the new shop ill leave some contact details. No web site yet, only had a net connection for a couple of weeks! But if I do anything of interest ill take some flics and write a bit for ya. You might know where the shop is, It was going to be let to some polish chaps to build trikes in but that fell through for some reason, my gain I guess! Grin

Most of the people in Basingstoke come from Poland or India.

Hey, I was born in Reading, raised in Newbury and spent my teenage years getting very drunk and having a good time in Basingstoke. Can I be an honerary Basingstokian please? Can I? Can I? Grin
