Got my Honda up for sale on Ebay. Yours for 1500 quid. Up to £1101 at the moment with 4 days to go. 39 people watching it. Ooh, it's so exciting! Never sold anything on there before so using Rainbow's account. Hope she doesn't want a commission.

Last day of the auction & Rainbow's just texted to say someone's bought it for the "Buy It Now" price of 1500 quid. So now I've got to go refit the rack, find the tank cover, sort out the paperwork & ride it down to her place in Southampton for collection. I'll have to give it a damn good clean when I get there too cos it's filthy!
So see you later people.  Cheesy

Just had a look at the auction - buyer with zero feedback? Be a bit careful, eh?

Yeah, I'm a bit worried actually. Took the bike down to Rainbow's place this afternoon. She'll handle the sale for me cos I won't be there. Foreign guy from London, no Ebay history. Name sounds Polish. Got loads of Poles here in Basingstoke since they joined the EU a year or so ago. Most are OK but there are some REALLY dodgy ones too. Got visions of some Mafiosa type with a walrus moustache & cheap leather coat turning up & trying to haggle the price down. Rainbow's under strict instructions to keep the bike chained up & not to hand the paperwork or keys over till she's got the cash in her hand. Hopefully her big, building labourer neighbour will be on hand to keep an eye on her.
Put the rack & Baglux tank cover back on this morning. Makes it look a little meaner but still a Honda underneath. Sorted the starting problem out, (choke lever wasn't opening far enough), so it's a good, reliable machine -just boring.

Thanks for that Raymond! O.K, so I owned a few ...err characterful machines in my youth. I'm still here though, still riding, still building. Still haven't got the hang of it yet!
Rainbow, I trust you implicitly Hon. Honest. x
