Called in to Farnham after the VJMC jumble at Badshot Lea to have look see.

Bumped into JJ & Chevy Rick and Alfie. Hi guys, nice to have met you  ;)

The central car park was the gathering place, and here are some snaps to give an idea of what was going on.

Lovely little Austin 7 with wind-up gramophone playing original Glenn Miller music on 78s...... :D

Just in case your one of the site's younger Mankies and haven't got a clue what I'm on about  ::), music used to come on LPs (12") played at 33rpm, singles (7") played at 45rpm and before them, discs known as 78s as they played at 78rpm. To pick up the sound, a metal needle made contact with the disc, and would generally only be used the once.

The little green "C" cab isn't what it may seem. It looks to be a pick up or even a roadster with a very neatly crafted "van" box fitted to the back..................................

Nice meeting you too Tony - at last!   8)

It was a good event  ( the third of the day for us) - very laid back.  It was also good to see Basil and Jacko on their trikes. We will have to look out for phunkie hiboy next time.

I love the Nash car that was there which just looks so perfect. It is so beautiful. However my favourite had to be that BMW bike that Hiboy has posted. The line is so sleek it makes you wonder why they changed that look. I don't know how reliable they were in this era but lookswise they were stunning.

It was a long day as we were up at 3 am to get to the Dorking Harley meet for 6 and then after spending a few hours there we called at Newlands Corner to see what bikes had turned up there. Loads of British.

Weather was good for us and only turned a bit cold and wet about 2ish, just as we were leaving Farnham.

A good day and I am sure Chevy Rick will soon be putting some more pics up.

JJ  :)

Good to meet up with you Tony allways nice to see a face of another Manky name, below are a few photo's, like JJ has said we met up with Jacko and his Pals on their trikes. Was a nice day to sit and eat cake and have a cup of tea from the hospice stall and wonder round looking at the classic motors.
