Bugger bike frames! I see that the medics are now printing 3D rib cages and sternums, and replacing damaged originals, so is that spooky or what?................ Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Excellent

Much better than the titanium / metal plates etc or robbing other bones to suit

Work is looking to purchase one to hopefully start printing obsolete parts that are no longer made and the tooling has been destroyed / unavailable

i worked with a 3d printing guy. he said he had helped someone to resize/design a false limb for a young lad in peru who had out grown/busted his prosthetic. he drew it up in his computer program here in the uk and then emailed it to the fellas computer in peru which was hooked up to a printer and vwala a few hours later the lad had a new prosthetic in the colour of his choice  Shocked Grin
