it was a different world at the bottom of the hill...... The couple were posing for a professional and I lent a hand moving barriers etc to help out so got to take a few myself  |

Hotrod Hayriders: There were so many I could have taken loads as most people were dressed the part with the hairstyles and accessories as well - men, women and children. You can see this in many background shots of other pics I and others have taken. A variety of bikes. Loads there but these caught my eye:     The photo doesn't do justice to this bike with its copper metalwork  The 8th Hot Rod Hayride I fell in love with this bike. I just think this knucklehead is gorgeous  Calvin's bike - I know, already well photographed, but he did win the hill climb on it and it is for sale (and he is a fellow Manky )  JJ |

Artwork (loosely defined!): Some lovely work by one stall. Their advert was painted on two welded and painted Austin A30/A35 bonnets   Scaled Model  The 8th Hot Rod Hayride Brilliant idea of artwork on scrap - costly though, about £650 a piece - headlights made into lamps too    A massive lamp - all the feathers (all single ones) were aluminium - lovely but £1200  Two items that caught my eye. The rose was plasterwork on one of the many period buildings found at Bisley, the second was on my neighbour's very handsome Dodge   The 8th Hot Rod Hayride  A Soap Box - art in their own right - here is quite a simple one but still plenty of work  The 8th Hot Rod Hayride And finally the artwork of the Wall of Death    JJ |
