Why do every five minute job take all day, and if it can go wrong it will go wrong

cars and bike everywhere, well, on the driveway. Spring has sprung, I'm happy. Bones are warming up, fingers are uncurling, feeling good.

Love that second shot Steve Amazing what a difference a bit of sunshine makes isn't it. I've noticed it when I've been delivering the Mail over the last few days -suddenly everyone's smiling & chatty. I'm not a hot weather person, but I'm really looking forward to a long, warm Summer this year.

Easy there now lads - it's still February, and this warm waft could turn into the Beast if the jet stream shifts! Edit to say, today I took the trike into work, cold as I got there after 12miles. I probably met a dozen cars, going slightly long way 'round. This afternoon, again going the scenic route up the Teifi valley, only saw four or five - and a sh1t tanker which wouldn't let me pass

All day trying to get the handbrake positioned in the very narrow confines of the red rooster. Fabrication and drilling and tapping, G clamps and cable ties, finally happy with it. Climb in the car to find it hits my elbow. and when its on it stands near on upright. Shift it slightly forward, nope hits the gearlever in top. Move it slightly to the left, even worse. A whole day spent drilling tapping welding in the bin. It happens................ARGHHHHH

Use a Ford Pop or Citroen one that pulls out from under the dash?

does it matter that much if your elbow hits the lever when it is pulled on? you would be parked and not driving,
