Title: Southcoast Internationals at Beaulieu 18th - 20th June 2010 Post by: renegade53 on November 23, 2009, 06:55:47 PM Beaulieu show next year is from the 18th june to the 20th. They are hoping to have the Low Riders Club at the show as well as the Cacklefest again.
The evening entertainment that they're looking at is a DJ for Fri and maybe Black Cat Boppers R n R. Sat night the DJ a ZZ Top tribute band and Burlesque girls and a steel band for Sunday. if they get all this entertainment and the good weather and a good turn out of vehicles it'll be a good weekend again. He was in the middle of putting up his tent when I got there. I did take a photo but I think he was working so fast that my camera couldn't capture him - he was just a blur!
I was surprised how many people were already at Beaulieu by 3ish. The weather was looking threatening as dark clouds loomed but everyone seemed in good spirits and there was a lovely sense of camaraderie. Indeed, at about 5pm the heavens opened and I got soaked as I rode home on my trike. Some other photos I took did turn out okay and here they are just to give you a taste of the coming weekend. That's a proper party sized tent that is -all round to Dave's gaff tomorrow then. I passed that gold sedan on my way to work at 5am on Friday morning. It was parked in a lay-by on the Hogs Back, (A31, between Guildford & Aldershot), with a caravan attached. A really good band who played rock throughout the evening. I think they are mainly a ZZ Top tribute band (they donned beards for their second set) but they did a brilliant range of numbers to keep everyone happy.

Title: Re: Southcoast Internationals at Beaulieu 18th - 20th June 2010 Post by: renegade53 on June 24, 2010, 08:18:28 PM the old girl has been running a bit rough for about a week noticed it on the way to beaulieu, thought it was a duff injector. checked the main 2 culprits 2 and 5 as they're next to the block. today got a whiff of petrol and a puff of smoke then it went. check it out and got a split in injector pipe 6. think i'll just replace it, its one of the easy ones to get to. pig of a job to trim it back and refit which i'll do after i've removed it.
