Like that, mainly because they cut up a real '51 split window to do it!

Right, time for a quick update. Ive had too much other work to get any major work done on it and had no room to take the body off the floorpan. Just been welding up the wing mounting holes, still welding the round bar around the cutouts for the front axle and taking the paint off it. I removed the front axle and moved it forward by ten inches to see what shes going to look like! Ive drilled out the door mirror and the most important bit, sat in it and made 'vroom, vroom' noises!

Looking good loony, should be ready by the spring then Actually hoping to have the roofchop and channel done and have it dry built with no paint for the show in the morememoriul park. Or at least all tacked together! Just got to find some dosh for the stupidly priced crossply tyres, £130 each!

I guess because they arent made for production cars anymore, they are more specialist tyres. Annoys me though, because its not like they are high performance tyres! And they're going to make the car handle badly and follow all the ruts! But they look good and thats what counts!

Yup, I've got all the entry gubbins now for the Basingstoke Festival of Transport in May -in the Memorial Park -where did you learn to spell Loony?! We've got tickets for 8 vehicles. Hopefully that'll include Loony's rod & maybe my Pop too. And one or two trikes.

Right..... bugger all has happened to my volksrod. Mainly due to having no money! The only thing ive done is made a start on the dash. Once the dash is filled ill make some chrome spears to come from the speedo across the dash.
