Not as daft as it sounds! Reliants are quite stonky little motors once they're tuned. My bog standard 850 will pull 90mph & I'm told the earlier 750s are more tunable. Dellorto carb & manifold looks interesting & I'll be keeping an eye on the rebuilt engine.

My Reliant Trike would PISS 90mph all day. My Dad's Robin would do 85mph easily.....except when he drove it, it only did 35 then. And the bloody thing handled well too. I think the only people who take the piss out of Reliants are the one's who've never driven one.

Hear hear! Well said that man! I've often had people turn their noses up when I tell them I've got a triked Reliant. They're seen as the poor relation of triking but those of us in the know love 'em! Mind you, Speedy loves Urals which is just plain weird.

Very interesting, not as bad looking as people seem to think  Tongue forgot me camera Sad so I cant put any piccies on here, maybe next time I'm out there I'll remember it.  Did get some piccies with my phone though but I aint got a dongle for my computer yet, so cant show you them either

There's one of those on the way up to Scotland, beside the motorway. Cumbria I think. About 2 dozen of 'em. Fascinating to watch in a spooky kind of way.
There's also a single one beside the M4 at Reading, Berks to provide power for a new industrial estate & we passed one on the way back into London from the NSRA swapmeet in Purfleet a few weeks ago.
Always interested in arty farty piccies! Send 'em in if you've got some you'd like to show off.
