this is posted by a member of my site
this is the ecard link
http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/ecards/

i welled up good an proper when i read it

Tomorrow my son Harry is 4, and things are not good. Unlike some people we don't have a lot, I have been unemployed for a long time, and in fact am on disability income, on top of that we had the car stolen a month or so ago and we had to save all we could to buy a new one and get it insured and taxed recently, we are as they say in the s**t, and I expect my connection to the net to die soon as well, my son is a lovely little lad, he expects nothing and has no preconceived ideas of getting psp's or xbox's or any such thing, and he knows it is his birthday tomorrow, his older brother has friends at school and he saw him get a lot of little things from them and cried cos he didn't get something too, Alfie also gets lots of them e-cards sent to him and harry kept asking why he didn't. yet today we sat him down and told him that we were going to take him to Tesco's tomorrow and buy him 2 new toy cars as we get the child allowance, his face lit up and he got so excited, and all he could say was " I'm going to get 2 new toy cars tomorrow dad" followed by a huge WOW and his face lit up like a beacon in the night, I have to admit I sat here and I cried because he is so innocent about it and he is so excited yet I know what other kids get and we can't give him, and because I hate the little bastards who stole my car with such a hatred I have rarely known, and I would do time for them and what they have caused tomorrow. The insurance paid us after the excess a lousy £40 and so we lost out big time on someone wanting a joy ride.

Rarely in my life have I hated my own inability to sort something out or to get what my kids need, today I do, I hate myself so much for not being able to do right for him, but most of all I want the thieveing little scrotes who took our car so I can show them my way what they caused.

If any of you can, I want a favour, Harry has an email address at harry@woolton-hill.com , can you send him an email just to say happy birthday ?. He likes cbeebies web site and I think you can send ecards or such from there, and I set him up a email tonight just in case.

Many thanks
Garry.
