This morning we woke up to the Jackdaws and a squirrel raiding the bird food. We used to have loads of feeders but the Jackdaws have become a bit of a pest so we have removed the big feeders and we mix the different food stuffs into a tub and only put a couple of scoops out at a time so the little birds get something to eat. We looked out the window to see the tub on it's side with it's contents all over the patio and a very greedy squirrel happily stuffing it's face. Judging by the size of his tummy he was a very full little bugger when he ran waddled off.

One of the best corners in our garden. Looks better in the flesh as the photo just doesn't do all the colours justice.

It's handy having the laptop and camera in the shed with me. These little fellows haven't been in the garden for a long time that I know of so I'm well chuffed that they are coming back. Just taken.

They are Ring Necked Parakeets. We have a very small family living on the estate. Some counties there are so many they outnumber pigeons and are classed as pests but here they are brilliant and don't bother anyone. We love seeing them in the garden.

Back again today. Only about 15 feet away from the back door but moving too fast to get a decent photo. Also had a Nuthatch on the feeder, plus a dozen pheasants wandering around at the bottom of the garden.
